Martin O. Jaekel, CFE, CII, CPIO-MI, CCPI
Founder, President & CEO

Martin has served the investigation industry for 40 years with a focus on insurance (P&C and Life and Health) and corporate fraud investigation. In addition to being licensed across Canada and handling assignments globally, he is also the President of Whitehall Bureau America, servicing American and Canadian clients with seamless professional investigative solutions.

The investigations Martin has been involved in range in scope, from alleged terrorist activity and foreign death investigations to complex claims matters involving fatalities and serious injury.

Corporate investigations include full due diligence of persons and corporations, Intellectual Property matters, assessing employee claims, and assisting businesses, of any size, regarding threats against their operations and people.

One of the best enjoyments of his career is mentoring and watching new investigators excel in the investigation industry.

Martin is also a published author, earned his Certified Fraud Examiner certification in 1994 and is passionate entrepreneur and presenter/trainer. He is recognized as an industry leader within the investigation community across Canada including:

  • Past President ~ Canadian Association of Professional Investigators
  • Past President ~ International Association of Arson Investigators (Ontario)
  • Ethics Director ~ Council of Professional Investigators Ontario
  • President ~ Atlantic Canada Professional Investigations

Jenn Slote, CPIO-SI
National Investigations Manager

Jenn joined Whitehall Bureau of Canada in 2020 as National Investigations Manager. Jenn has over 18 years investigative and Case Management experience.

She graduated from Mohawk College ~ Insurance Program in June 1989 and began her career at various insurance companies and adjusting firms before moving into the investigative field.

In 2022, she obtained her CPIO-SI (Senior Investigator) designation through the Council of Professional Investigators ~ Ontario, and continues to engage within the industry to remain current on investigative trends.

Jordan Landry, B.A., CCII, CPIO-PI
Cyber Investigations and Internal IT Manager

Jordan joined Whitehall Canada in 2016, after obtaining a dual university degree and college diploma in Media, Theory and Production from Western University and Fanshawe College.

As Manager of Whitehall’s Cyber & Digital Investigations Unit and a credentialled Certified Cyber Intelligence Investigator, Jordan has handled countless investigations across Canada and abroad, with a focus on insurance and corporate matters. Jordan is a lifelong learner, with a passion for the ways in which technology enhances investigations, ensuring Whitehall remains at the cutting edge of investigative tools and concepts.

Jordan also acts as Assistant Case Manager for Western Canada and the Maritimes, assisting with, and managing, on-the-ground investigations.

Jordan is also the lead of our Information Security Team (IST) to ensure compliance with our client’s strictest IT and Information Privacy requirements. Working alongside of our IT department and managers of insurance IT professionals, our end goal is to meet and exceed these requirements that already complement our established internal safeguard policies.

Carol Ann, CPIO-SI
Financial Investigations Manager

Carol Ann has worked with Whitehall Canada for over 12 years with her focus on, but not limited to, corporate fraud investigations, financial backgrounds, asset searches and locates for those in the Insurance, Corporate and Legal industries globally.

She graduated from Sheridan College’s Investigations Public and Private program in June 2001 and immediately entered the Investigations field. She has continued to upgrade her knowledge and skills with the inclusion of industry relevant courses pertaining to OSINT and interviewing techniques, as well as programs in the medical field.

In 2022, she obtained her CPIO-SI (Senior Investigator) designation through the Council of Professional Investigators ~ Ontario.

Carol Ann is part of our Information Security Team (IST), and works closely with the IT security team members that will facilitate needed training to all Whitehall employees across the country.
